Our Students
The students we help have hard working parents who struggle to pay school fees for their children. Each of them would be unable to attend school without our help. Help us help these children and more.
How are we funded?
We fund scholarships through a combination of private donations from supporters and the commercial borehole that we run in Nairobi. As we grow, we need more assistance from our supporters. We accept payment through PayPal, Mpesa or check to our US account.
Scholarship Tea
On May 6, 2023, we hosted sixteen students and their families in our home for tea and a time of fellowship. During the Tea we gave each student proof that their school fees have been paid and a backpack with school supplies and some personal care items. These backpacks and their contents were provided through a fundraising drive in December of 2022.
What is the future?
Going forward, TLMKE plans to add additional scholarships and build a library in eastern Nairobi to support and encourage literacy and a love of learning throughout the community.We are looking for ways to partner with likeminded people who will help us.
